High-Protein Boxes for a Training Week

3 minute read

Lean Protein Saver Box

A training week is not a sausage festival with a protein label stuck on the side. You want chicken you can portion, a steak or two that still feels like food, and mince or extra-lean beef for the nights you cannot be bothered to grill. High-protein meat boxes are for that week. Read the contents. If the box is mostly burgers and flavoured party cuts, it is a different mood, and you should buy it as a BBQ box, not as gym fuel.

What we put in for protein

High-Protein Carnivore Meal Box is the blunt, meat-heavy option when you want almost no filler. Protein Duo Hamper – Chicken & Steak Combo is the mixed week: chicken for volume, steak so you do not eat beige for seven days. Lean Protein Saver Box is the tighter spend, leaner cuts, still a box rather than twenty clicks. Shop those three before you invent a custom basket you will not repeat next month.

On arrival, portion the chicken into the days you train hardest. Put steak on the day you want a proper plate. Freeze the rest the same evening. A protein box that stays in one frozen lump until Thursday is just a delayed supermarket shop. The box is a delivery method. The week still needs a list on the fridge.

Loose packs if the box is wrong

If you only eat chicken breast, a 5kg bag from 5kg chicken breast is a cleaner buy than a mixed box you will pick around. If you want steak every night, a steak box is cleaner. Boxes earn their keep when you will eat everything in them. That is the only fitness advice a butcher should give: buy the meat you will cook, weigh it if you must, and stop pretending a hamper can do the training for you.

What we do not pretend

A box will not hit your calories for you. It will not trim itself. It will not stop you frying everything in a pint of oil. It will put the right sort of meat in the house so the week is possible. If you need exact grams, you still weigh it. If you need flavour, you still season it. That is a training week with a butcher involved, which is all we can honestly sell.

Write the training days on the box lid if you must: heavy chicken days, steak day, mince day. If a cut in the box is one you never eat, this was the wrong box, and next time you buy loose packs from the lean and chicken collections instead of hoping the cardboard will change your appetite.
