Courier
Courier
DPD is our preferred courier, with deliveries made between 7am and 10pm (though the vast majority will be made between 8am and 6pm). Delivery times may differ, and depend on the size of the parcel and the delivery address.
On the morning of your delivery, a 1 hour delivery window will be given by DPD. Provided you have entered your mobile or email address correctly, you will receive a notification (please note, this is an estimate, and on rare occasions deliveries may be made outside of this window). You will also be able to track your parcel here: https://track.dpd.co.uk/
The DPD driver will first attempt to deliver to your address, then to a neighbour, and then will leave in a safe place if there is no-one to accept the parcel.
If you’re not going to be home during the delivery time or day no worries! This parcel is on a leave safe service so DPD will either leave this in a safe place or with a neighbour. You can update your delivery preferences through DPD via your tracking link if you’d like the order left in a specific place or neighbour. If you do not pick a place the courier will choose one at the time of delivery.
Please note: if your order does get left outside due to no specific delivery request and gets lost/damaged due to this, unfortunately neither Meatsupermarket.com or DPD are liable for the loss of the goods. This is because the parcel needs to be left on a safe service due to the perishable fresh nature of the goods.

Packaging
Our packaging has been designed to ensure that our products reach you in perfect condition. This is done by using the highest quality packaging, creating a modified atmosphere to keep the products fresh whilst in transit:
White double walled “Extra strong” corrugated cardboard
Air-infused, padded, thermal liner with seal
Gel ice packs, made from 100% recyclable, low-density polyethene film, filled with a non-toxic food grade gel
The packaging we use has been thoroughly tested, and has been proven to keep the contents at a safe temperature up until the end of the second day after leaving us here at meatsupermarket.com!
