How do I cook gammon steaks?

Snip the fat every 2-3cm so the steak doesn't curl, then fry or grill over a medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes each side for our 8oz Gammon Steak 2x 8oz, until cooked through with no pink juices. Top with a fried egg or pineapple, the pub classic.

Can you cook gammon steaks in an air fryer?

Yes. Air fry gammon steaks at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway, until the centre reaches 70°C. A light brush of honey or mustard in the last two minutes gives a sticky glaze.

How long does a gammon joint take?
