Our Products

Is your meat fresh?

We offer both fresh and frozen as product options, any frozen options will be clearly listed within the product name or description. All of our fresh meat is cut, packed, and delivered fresh to your door – and all products including frozen products are perfectly suitable for home-freezing.

Is your meat British?

We source our prime British Beef predominantly from local abattoirs, or alternatively, from trusted British abattoirs we've maintained long-term relationships with. Should any beef not be of British origin, it will be clearly indicated in the product description. Our pork is mainly sourced from Cornwall, although we occasionally use high-welfare pork from the EU for specific products. Additionally, our chicken breast is always sourced from high-welfare farms within the EU.

Is your meat Halal?

We don’t sell any Halal products, or any other product that has been religiously slaughtered. However, we do use accredited poultry slaughterhouses that adhere to legal welfare standards.

Is your meat grass-fed?

We use both grass/grain and forage fed beef and ensure we source it from ethical and quality producers to get the best possible cuts to meet the high standards we set for ourselves here and our customers at Meatsupermarket!

Where are you based?

We’re based in Cornwall, but happily deliver to all mainland UK addresses (free when you spend £60 or more!) 😁

What does “Sorry, we don’t deliver to this area” mean during checkout?

We are working with our courier partner to reduce the number of areas we can’t offer delivery. However, there are still a few postcodes where delivery is unavailable. The full list of which can be found on our website at https://www.meatsupermarket.com/delivery-returns/.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payment using the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express.

Unfortunately, we can only accept payments through our website, no other options are available.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

Yes, our minimum order requirement is currently £40, and this will incur a £5.95 delivery charge. For free delivery, you need to spend at least £60.

Packaging

How long will my food remain fresh?

All of our boxes have been tested in realistic, high standard laboratory conditions. All of our products are packaged in an air-infused padded, sealed, thermo bag – which ensures your parcel stays cold and fresh for up to 48 hours after leaving us here at meatsupermarket!

More information can be found online at meatsupermarket.com/delivery-returns.

Is the packaging recyclable/reusable?

Our packaging is almost entirely recyclable. The box is made of corrugated cardboard, and the gel ice packs are made from 100% recyclable low-density polyethene film (filled with a non-toxic food grade gel, which can safely be poured down the drain with some hot water once defrosted).

More information can be found online at meatsupermarket.com/delivery-returns
