Lamb Mince: Uses, Cooking Tips and What We Stock

Quick answer: Lamb mince is the classic base for shepherd's pie, koftas and moussaka. We don't sell lamb mince right now. Beef mince makes a cottage pie instead, and our lamb shoulder can be slow-cooked and shredded for a pie filling.

Cooking lamb mince

Brown it in batches in a dry pan, pour off excess fat and cook through until no pink remains. Minced meat should be cooked thoroughly.
