How it works: we take each in-stock product’s current price and the weight in its name. Ranges use the midpoint (a 4–5kg joint counts as 4.5kg) and multi-packs are multiplied out (2x 6oz = 12oz). Products with no weight in the name, multi-buy offers that mix items, and gift cards are left out.

Pack sizes vary a lot, from a 2x 6oz pack of steaks to a 5kg box of chicken breast, so the price per kilo is the fairest way to compare. Bigger packs usually bring the price per kilo down, which is why bulk chicken and mince packs sit near the top of the table.

Price per kg questions
How is the price per kg worked out?
We divide each product’s current price by the pack weight in its name. For weight ranges we use the midpoint, and multi-packs are multiplied out, so 2x 6oz counts as 12oz (about 340g).
Are the prices up to date?
Yes. The table reads the shop’s live prices each time the page loads, so offers and price changes show straight away.
Why are some products not in the table?
Sold-out products, products with no weight in their name, multi-buy offers that mix different items, and gift cards are left out, because there is no single pack weight to divide by.
How do I get free delivery?
Weekday delivery is free on orders over £85, with no minimum order.
