Ingredients
- 6–12 pork sausages
- 1 onion, sliced; 1 garlic clove; 1 tbsp oil
- 400g tin baked beans; 400g tin chopped tomatoes (or passata); 150ml stock; 1 tsp mustard; 1 tsp Worcester sauce; salt and pepper
- Mash or crusty bread to serve
Method
- Heat oil in a casserole; brown sausages all over. Lift out.
- Soften onion in the same pan; add garlic. Stir in tomatoes, beans, stock, mustard and Worcester. Nestle sausages back in.
- Simmer gently 25–30 minutes (or bake at 180°C fan) until sausages are cooked through and sauce is thick. Season.
- Serve with mash or bread to mop the gravy.
