Ingredients
- 1.1–1.4kg BBQ pork ribs (or plain large pork ribs)
- 1 tbsp oil; salt, pepper, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp brown sugar (dry rub)
- 150ml BBQ sauce; 1 tbsp honey; 1 tsp cider vinegar
- Optional: chilli flakes; coleslaw and chips to serve
Method
- Heat oven to 150°C fan. Rub ribs with oil, salt, pepper, paprika and sugar. Wrap loosely in foil on a tray.
- Roast 2–2½ hours until the meat is tender and pulls from the bone.
- Mix BBQ sauce, honey and vinegar. Unwrap ribs, brush generously, and grill or roast at 200°C fan for 10–15 minutes until sticky.
- Rest 5 minutes, slice into portions, and brush with any remaining glaze.
- Serve with coleslaw and chips — sticky BBQ pork ribs without the takeaway markup.
