Buying meat online is easier when you know what will turn up. This video follows a Meatsupermarket.com box from the doorstep to the kitchen worktop, so you can see the packaging and the packs before you order.

Shop Fresh Lean Beef Mince - 5 x 400g
What you see in the video
- The branded outer box, opened to reveal an insulated foil liner.
- Individually labelled, vacuum-sealed packs taken out one by one.
- Several packs of beef mince alongside steaks and other beef cuts, laid out on the worktop so you can see the whole order.
- A printed card in the box with a QR code.
Every pack carries its own label, so you can match it to your invoice and see what each one is without opening it.
Storing your order
Unpack the same day. Put anything you'll cook in the next day or two in the fridge at 0 to 5°C and freeze the rest in its sealed pack. Vacuum packs freeze flat and stack well, which matters when a box holds several kilos.
- Mince: freeze in the 400g packs it arrives in, so you only defrost what one meal needs.
- Steaks: freeze flat and defrost overnight in the fridge. Pat dry before cooking for a better crust.
- Joints: allow roughly a day in the fridge per 2kg to thaw, and roast from fridge-cold, not frozen.
