Steak and chicken breast are the two cuts most people build their week around. This short video gets up close to both: a sirloin steak held up to the camera, then boards of sirloin steaks and skinless chicken breast fillets.

What to look for
- Sirloin: a deep red eye of meat with a firm cap of creamy-white fat along one edge. That fat keeps the steak juicy, so trim it after cooking, not before.
- Chicken breast: plump, even fillets that look pale pink, not grey. Our chicken breast is sold with no added water, so what you pay for is chicken.
Which box?
Two of our boxes combine these cuts. Check each product page for the current contents before you order:
- Protein Duo Hamper: 10 x 6oz matured sirloin steaks (aged for 21 days) and 2kg of chicken breasts.
- Steak & Chicken Power Box: two packs of 2 x 6oz sirloin steaks, 5kg of fresh chicken breast fillets and two 1kg packs of dry aged smashed burger mince.
Turning a box into a week of meals
- Portion as soon as it arrives. Bag chicken breasts in twos, steaks in pairs, and freeze anything you won't cook within two days.
- Cook chicken in batches: oven at 200°C for 20 to 25 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 75°C. Slice it for lunches, wraps and salads.
- Save the sirloin for two or three steak nights. Sear a 6oz steak for 2 to 3 minutes a side for medium-rare, then rest it for 5 minutes.
- Defrost the next day's portions in the fridge overnight.
